Vehicle Progressor/Quality Controller
Accident Repair Centre - Broxburn
Salary up to £23,900 + bonus (OTE £27,500)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify repair timescales and work towards repair completion there in
  • Manage parts delays and technical enquiries with parts department to maintain repair timescales
  • Manage job card and vehicle key allocation to maintain productivity
  • Communicate with staff and customers on repair timescales
  • Assist Bodyshop manager with productivity objectives
  • Manage and maintain all plant and equipment to the appropriate standards
  • Ensure effective housekeeping standards are maintained
  • Inspect and approve repair standard in line with brand expectation, ensuring paper trail archive is completed
  • Oversee the booking in team to ensure correct procedures and archives
  • Oversee all vehicle movements including customer vehicle collection and deliveries, ensuring proper use of trade plates and recovery truck in line with legal requirements
  • Ensure company and customer vehicles are presented to brand standard, sign written and with pre-checks carried out
  • Oversee branch standards including cleaning and maintenance of daily tasks
  • Ensure strict cleaning rotation is in place to meet health and safety standards in day to day cleaning of premises and equipment
  • Manage and positively influence a safe workplace and safe working practices
  • Manage T100 tasks and assist colleagues complete their allocated tasks
