Employment screening will involve a number of checks during the recruitment/appointment process.
We always take time to consider all applications and we inform all candidates of the outcome. We can also give you our assurance that your application and its outcome will remain confidential.
The process of employment screening is undertaken within the recruitment process and forms a condition of the offer of employment. As part of the recruitment/appointment process we will carry out the following checks:
The supply of proof of immigration authorization to work in the UK, as contained in the Asylum and Immigration Act 1996 Further information can be obtained from www.ukba-homeoffice.gov.uk
To ensure you have the appropriate category to drive the vehicles to do your job.
For roles governed by FSA regulations, evidence of FSA Compliance (copy of Certificate of FSA Competence) must be provided. If this is not available then we would expect the person to complete FSA Competency test by the end of 13 week probationary period. Appropriate FSA training and reading material will be provided before the FSA test is presented. Two re sits will be granted and a certificate of FSA Competence will be issued on achieving minimum standard of 80%.
Where appropriate the Group may take up employment references. These will normally be after an offer of employment is made and with your permission.
As part of the recruitment process, please let us know prior to any interview/assessment event what assistance you may need during the process. We will work with you where possible to make sure it's put in place.
