Job description

• Strategic Planning and Alignment: Collaborate with Department Managers to create detailed annual plans that align with long-term goals, focusing on profitability, productivity, and market development.
• Organisational Structuring: Define department structures, roles, and responsibilities; oversee recruitment and establish headcount to ensure efficient achievement of objectives.
• Performance and Control Systems: Develop control systems and set key performance standards; manage financial and business information usage and review progress through monthly control meetings.
• Market Monitoring and Adjustment: Continuously assess market activities, adapting plans based on competitor actions, economic trends, and customer needs.
• Operational Management and Compliance: Oversee policies for pricing, credit, and customer service; manage assets, authorise capital spending, and ensure safety, compliance, and effective resource management across key business areas.
• a key focus on driving used car sales performance, including maximising results through Car Deal Warehouse.
